Along this line, the #nerdlution community is a big reason to celebrate! I love (lovelovelove) knowing there are other people out there working to make small changes. They celebrate and encourage and empower you to be a better version of yourself.
This line from my current read: "Dreams are a sign that you're gloriously, beautifully awake to life."
At NCTE I had a conversation with Stenhouse about Celebrating Writers and our new community on Saturdays. Here's the video and a special thanks to the Stenhouse family for always believing in me more than I believe in myself.
I ran on Thursday afternoon. It's been several weeks since I've been able to run because a cold settled in my chest. (Andy has rescued me three times when I thought I should be able to run and instead broke out in a coughing spell a mile away from home.) There is something about exercising hard that makes a difference. My 1.5 mile run followed by a 1.5 mile walk melted the stress from my shoulders, the annoyance in my heart, and centered me. I'm celebrating sore legs and the reminder that moving is good for the soul.
